"Man does not live by bread alone, but by the word of Hashem" (Deuteronomy 8:3)

Prayer is very important. You should constantly pray to Hashem. And you know what? If you cant read Hebrew, then you should pray in the language that you do know. Rav Nachman always said that a person should have a fixed time every day that he can be alone and pray to Hashem, in any language that he wants. A person should ask Hashem for everything that he needs. Of course, Hashem knows whats best for you because He can see the future and we can't, but never the less, by asking Hashem for what we need or want, shows Him that we are aware that EVERYTHING comes from Him... Our clothes, our food, our homes, our toys, our intelegence... EVERYTHING.
