What is so special about the Jerusalem Candy cane

Each string has been blessed at the Tomb of our Matriarch Rachael. And has been wound around 100% .925 Jerusalem silver by a Torah observant Kabbalah student. All students and windings are approved and certified by RADNI of Jerusalem (shlita). Each Jerusalem candy cane comes with a card of certification bearing the signature of RADNI.

The Kabbalah writes (68b):

"The remarks of Rabbi Simeon ben Yochai...beware of a man with an evil eye... An example of a man with an evil eye was Balaam, of whom it is written, 'thus says the man whose eye is closed (num. 24:3)'. This means that he was possessor of an evil eye, and on whatsoever he fixed his gaze he drew thereon the destroying spirit. Knowing this, he sought to fix his gaze on Israel, in order that he might destroy everything upon which his look should fall. ... Israel however were immune... he saw the Holy Spirit hovering over them and kept in position by the twelve tribes beneath, and his eye had no more power over them... In the same manner the Holy One, blessed be He, sought to shield Noah, and to hide him from the evil eye, so that the impure spirit should have no power of him, and do him harm." (Zohar 68b)

Note:

The Red String has been used as a tool of protection for many years. This practice, developed by many sages, involves winding the red string around the tomb of the great Matriarch, Rachael which is located here, in the Land of Israel. The string is then cut it into pieces and worn on the left wrist.
